Andrea Finnegan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and joined M&A in 2002.  Andrea specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, trauma/loss, divorce, relationship concerns, and family conflict.  Andrea also provides assessment and risk education services for those struggling with substance abuse issues.  She works best with adolescents (ages 12+), adults, couples, and families.

Andrea has broad professional experience, most recently working for an employee assistance program (EAP) conducting assessments, brief solution focused therapy, management consultation, and case management services.  Individuals, couples, and families accessing their EAP struggle with mental health and chemical dependency issues, work problems, relationship conflict, and other work/life balance issues.  In addition to EAP experience, Andrea provided individual and group therapy to adolescents who are state wards living in a residential treatment center.  Working with children and adolescents admitted to a behavioral health hospital and families seeking shelter from domestic violence, round out Andrea's professional experience.

In 1996, Andrea graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Parkside in Kenosha, WI with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois - Chicago in 2001.
