Katie Diehl is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and joined M&A in 2010. Katie specializes in working with children and adolescents with depression and anxiety. She has experience in working with adults, families, adolescents, children, and couples struggling with a range issues. Katie works with life transition stressors, family conflict, depression, anxiety, ADHD and behavior issues as well as additional disorders.
Prior to working at M&A, Katie worked as a Child and Adolescent Therapist at Kenneth Young Center in Elk Grove Village. While working at Kenneth Young, Katie provided individual, family and group therapy for her clients. Through her experience, she understands the obstacles both youth and adults are facing today. She has a genuine desire to help her clients build a better life and face these obstacles in a healthy way.
In 2002, Katie graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and earned her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2005. She has additional training and certification in Cognitive Behavior Therapy for adolescents with depression as well as training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
