Kevin Ball is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC).  Kevin joined Marks & Associations in 2015 and has more than 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents who have co-occurring disorders and substance abuse related issues.  Kevin utilizes a strength-based individual supportive approach to life stressors, family conflict, and behavioral issues, as well as other disorders.  Kevin has extensive experience working with the adult and juvenile criminal justice systems, drug courts, the State Health and Human Services systems, and the local school systems. 

Prior to working at M&A, Kevin worked at the Department of Corrections and with hospital-based outpatient substance abuse treatment programs; providing individual and group therapy for his clients.  Kevin understands the complexities that both adults and adolescents face today and has a genuine desire to help his clients develop the coping skills they need to better their lives and accomplish their individual goals. 

Kevin graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from National-Louis University in 1998 and earned his Masters of Psychology at National-Louis University in 2002.  Kevin is a U.S. Army Veteran and has a unique perspective to offer current and former U.S. soldiers.  Kevin is certified by Northwestern University in Divorce Mediation and has additional training in evidence-based therapies.
