Tim Spiegel

Tim Spiegel is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over three decades of experience in the field of education. He served both as a secondary special education teacher and as a high school counselor, supporting the academic and emotional needs of students. In addition, he has also coached youth and high school athletes, using sports as a tool to build resilience, teamwork, and personal growth. His specialization in working with teens and athletes creates a unique perspective where he can help navigate the challenges of adolescence, performance pressure, and life transitions. His counseling approach is grounded in Solution-Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, and establishing a neutral mindset empowering clients to take ownership of their goals and develop practical strategies for change. His unique combination of educational, counseling, and coaching experience allows a deep connection with young adults, fostering trust and promoting personal development. His passion is about guiding individuals toward self-awareness, confidence, and meaningful progress in both life and sport.

Tim obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and two Master’s of Science degrees in School Counseling and Special Education from Northern Illinois University.
